Requirements

  • A server with Plesk (any operating system) and PHP installed.

This tutorial uses the Power User view. You can change the Plesk view by clicking Change View at the bottom of the column on the left.

Install Tomcat

Log in to the Plesk Admin panel, then click Tools & Settings.

Click Plesk > Updates & Upgrades.

Click Add/Remove Components.

Click to expand the Web Hosting menu.

Click to install Support for Tomcat Java Servlets.

Click Continue to complete the installation.

Tomcat will be installed.

Start, Stop, or Restart Tomcat

After installing Tomcat, the service will automatically be started. To stop, start, or restart the service, log in to the Plesk Admin area, then click Tools & Settings.

Click Server Management > Services Management.

Click the appropriate icon to start, stop, or restart the Tomcat service.
