This article will show you what to do if your domain transfer cannot be completed because consent has not been received from the domain owner (registrant contact or Reg-C).
If you wish to restart the domain transfer, proceed as follows:
- Are all requirements met? Check that the Prerequisites for a Successful Domain Transfer are met. Very important: Disable the transfer lock and private registration.
- Check your spam folder: Sometimes the confirmation email is filtered into your mailbox's spam folder by mistake.
- Check the contact details (email addresses) for your domain: A correct and current email address must be recorded for the domain owner (Reg-C). If necessary, you can update the contact details for your domain on the Domains > Privacy & Contact Details page. This generally takes about 24 to 48 hours.
- Restart the domain transfer: If the contact details are correct, you can restart the domain tranfer. You will find the necessary link in an email with the subject line: Transfer of your domain [your-domain.com] not possible.
