Setting Up Microsoft Exchange® 2019 on an Android Device

For devices with the Android operating system

In this article, we'll show you how to set up a Microsoft Exchange 2019 account on your Android smartphone or tablet in just a few steps.

The following steps refer to devices from the manufacturer Samsung. The designations of the individual menu items may vary slightly for devices from other manufacturers.

Guided Steps

  • Open the Settings menu.
  • Under Accounts, tap Add Account.
  • Select Microsoft Exchange here. Enter the following data:
    • Email: The full email address of your Microsoft Exchange 2019 account

    • Password: Your password for this Microsoft Exchange 2019 email address
  • Tap Next, and then tap OK to allow the redirection request.

  • Tap OK to allow the Exchange Redirect Request.

  • Now enter your user name and the server:

    • Username: Your full email address that you used to set up Microsoft Exchange 2019.


    • Port: 443

    • Security: Confirm both fields: Use Secure Connection (SSL) and Accept All SSL Certificates

  • Tap Next.
  • In the account options, select which services you want to synchronize (notifications, contacts, calendar, etc.) and confirm with Next.

Your account has been successfully added.
