For Microsoft Exchange 2019
We'll show you how to set up Microsoft Exchange 2019 for first time use. To do this, you'll need to create a new email address to activate with the Microsoft Exchange 2019 account.
In order to set up an email address for the activation and use with Microsoft Exchange 2019, you will need a domain. This domain needs to be associated with a contract.
Want to connect your new Microsoft Exchange 2019 account to an existing email address? Unlike with previous versions of Microsoft Exchange, when you set up a new Exchange 2019 account, you must always configure a new email address first. However, you can use Outlook to reply to any email sent to your old email address with your new Microsoft Exchange 2019 mailbox. For details on how to do this, see the help article Using Microsoft Exchange 2019 with an Existing Email Address.
Log in to your IONOS Customer Account.
In the My Products section, click on the Email & Office tile.
If necessary, choose the desired contract.
In the Microsoft® Exchange 2019 section, select Create Email Address.
Enter your email address, first name, last name, and password, and click Save.
Your new email address will now be created.
