Enabling IMAP and POP3 for Microsoft Exchange 2013

With IMAP and POP3, you can also use your Microsoft Exchange 2013 account with email programs (such as Mozilla Thunderbird) that do not support Exchange synchronization features.

  • Log in to the Microsoft Exchange 2013 Administration Tool using the email address and password associated with your Microsoft Exchange 2013 account.

  • Click on Connectivity Settings.

  • Place a check mark next to IMAP or POP. If you want to use both technologies in different email programs, simply check both boxes.

  • Then click Apply.
