This article explains how to set up a Microsoft Exchange 2013 account on your Android smartphone or tablet in the Gmail app.
These setup steps were performed using a Samsung GALAXY A50 smartphone with Android 9 as an example. The menu items listed below may differ slightly on other Android models.
Start the Gmail app.
Tap the symbol with the three horizontal lines in the top left corner.
Tap on Settings.
Tap Add Account.
Tap Exchange and Microsoft 365.
Enter your email address.
Tap Set up manually.
Enter your password in the Password field.
Tap on Next.
In the Server Settings section, in the Server field, enter exchange.ionos.us
Check whether port 443 is entered in the Port field.
In the Security type list, select SSL/TLS (accept all certificates).
To allow Gmail to access your phone, tap Permissions.
Tap Activate and the account is now set up.
