Setting Up Microsoft Exchange 2013 on an Android Device

For devices with the Android operating system version 9.0 or higher.

This article explains how to set up a Microsoft Exchange 2013 account on your Android smartphone or tablet in the Gmail app.

Please Note

These setup steps were performed using a Samsung GALAXY A50 smartphone with Android 9 as an example. The menu items listed below may differ slightly on other Android models.

  • Start the Gmail app.

  • Tap the symbol with the three horizontal lines in the top left corner.

  • Tap on Settings.

  • Tap Add Account.

  • Tap Exchange and Microsoft 365.

  • Enter your email address.

  • Tap Set up manually.

  • Enter your password in the Password field.

  • Tap on Next.

  • In the Server Settings section, in the Server field, enter

  • Check whether port 443 is entered in the Port field.

  • In the Security type list, select SSL/TLS (accept all certificates).

  • Tap Next.

  • To allow Gmail to access your phone, tap Permissions.

  • Tap Activate and the account is now set up.

  • Tap Done.
