For 1&1 IONOS Windows servers with Plesk Onyx
In this article, we'll show you how to set up a 1&1 IONOS-registered domain on your server in Plesk Onyx for Linux.
You have already registered the desired domain.
You have enabled port 8443 in the firewall policy assigned to your server.
You have logged into Plesk as an administrator
Connecting the Domain to the Static IP Address of the Server
In the navigation bar on the left, click Websites & Domains.
Click Add Domain.
Enter the desired domain name in the Domain name field.
In the Username field, enter the required username.
Enter the password in the Password field and repeat it.
Optional: Activate the option Enable support of Git.
To add the domain, click OK. The domain is now set up.
Click on the domain name.
Click DNS Settings. The following message appears:
Do you want to automatically associate [DOMAIN NAME] with Plesk? Link via Domain Connect
To connect the domain to the static IP address of the server, click Link via Domain Connect.
The Connect your IONOSdomain with Web Hosting on Plesk window will open.
Log in to IONOS.
Your domain is now connected to Plesk Onyx.
