Changing the Keyboard Language in the KVM Console (Windows)

English is the default keyboard language in the KVM console. To use a different keyboard language, you must set the same keyboard language on your local computer, on your server, and in the KVM console.

Changing the Keyboard Language in Windows (Local Computer)

Windows 10:
  • Click the Start button.

  • Select Settings.

  • Select Time & Language, then Language on the left side.

  • If necessary, click Add a preferred language and install the desired language pack. Otherwise, skip to the next step.

  • Select the preferred language and click the Up arrow to make the language the default choice by being at the top of the list.

 
Windows 7 or Windows 8:
  • Open the Control Panel.

  • Click on Time, Language, Region.

  • Click Change keyboards and input methods.

  • Click Change Keyboards....

  • Under Default Input Language, select the desired keyboard language.

  • Click OK.

Changing the Keyboard Language in Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016

Prerequisites
  • You are in the Infrastructure > Servers section of the Cloud Panel.

  • Select the desired server from the list.

  • Click Actions > Launch KVM Console.

  • Click Ctrl+Alt+Del.

  • Log on to the server.

  • Click Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region.

  • Click Change input methods.

  • Click Add a language.

  • Select the desired language.

  • Click Open.

  • Select the desired language variant.

  • Click Add and the Language window opens.

  • Click on the desired language.

  • Click Move up.

  • Perform a restart.

Changing the Keyboard Language in the KVM Console

Prerequisites
  • You are in the Infrastructure > Servers section of the Cloud Panel.

  • Select the desired server from the list.

  • Click Actions > Launch KVM Console. The KVM Console opens.

  • Select the desired keyboard language from the menu bar at the top.

  • Click Ctrl+Alt+Del.

  • Log on to the server.
