  • Direct debit: With this payment method, the customer must provide his account details during the order process. The data is checked for completeness, but not for correctness, that is, the system neither checks whether the account data is correct nor whether the account is funded. There are no additional costs for the customer.

  • Direct debit by fax: With this payment method, the customer is shown a fax form during the order process, with the help of which he can send his account data to you. There are no additional costs for the customer.

Then click on Save.

Click Complete next to the name of the payment method.

  • Internal identifier: Identifier under which the payment method is stored in your shop administration. The identifier is not visible in your shop.

  • Standard selection: Determines whether this is the default payment method of your shop. The default payment method is automatically preset in the order process.

  • Restriction of availability: Determines whether the payment method is only offered from a minimum order value or up to a maximum order value.

  • Allow use for the following billing address: Determines for which countries the payment method is available.

  • Name in the shop: Name under which the payment method is displayed in your shop.

  • Remark: Remark about the payment method, e.g. a note if you offer a discount for this payment method. The comment is displayed in your shop when you place your order.

  • Logo: Here you can upload the logo of the payment provider and define whether it should be displayed in the order process of your shop or not.

Then click on Save.
