Joomla! is an award-winning content management system (CMS) that enables the creation of websites and powerful online applications.
You can set up Joomla! at IONOS quickly and free of charge using a 1-click installation through the App Center.
Advantages of 1-click installation:
- Simplified installation process
- No need to upload and download installation packages
- You will receive the latest Joomla! version
Afterwards, you can customize your installation according to your needs and extend it with plugins and themes without any restrictions.
The 1-click installation is only available for installing websites based on Joomla! 4. If you want to create a website based on Joomla! 3, you can download the installation package separately from https://downloads.joomla.org/latest and install it manually in your webspace.
For the 1-click installation of Joomla! you need the following:
- A Linux hosting package or a Managed Dedicated Server
- An available domain or subdomain
- An available MySQL/MariaDB database
