Phildelphia, 28.09.2023.

IONOS has been named a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider. As a result, IONOS now has the ability to distribute globally Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the world’s leading enterprise Linux platform, on the IONOS cloud platform. IONOS also offers Level 1 and Level 2 support to users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

“In recent years, our customers – especially from the public sector – have been increasingly demanding Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Therefore, joining the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program was of utmost importance to us. We are pleased that we are now part of the program and can offer customers a more secure, stable, and trusted platform upon which to build their next-generation IT projects using Red Hat solutions,” said Patrick Schaudel, SVP products of IONOS.

“We are pleased to work with IONOS as part of the Red Hat partner ecosystem,” said Gregor von Jagow, senior director & country manager Germany, Red Hat. “We are committed to providing customers and developers with a broad choice of cloud solutions, and the key to that vision is building a strong ecosystem of partners that enable users to build and deploy the best possible applications.”

Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider

The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program was created to offer additional flexibility to help solution providers better meet customer needs for cloud-based Red Hat technologies. By working with a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider, customers and partners can have greater confidence that custom-developed or third-party ISV applications will work as expected when deployed in a public cloud or through a managed service provider.

Red Hat’s Certified Cloud and Service Provider designation is awarded to Red Hat partners following validation by Red Hat. To achieve this, IONOS must meet testing and certification requirements to demonstrate that they can deliver a scalable, supported, and consistent environment with strong security capabilities for enterprise cloud deployments. The globally-unified program provides increased reassurance to customers, ISVs, and partners that Red Hat product experts have validated a particular solution so that deployments can begin on a solid foundation.
