IONOS is relocating their U.S. headquarters from Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania to Philadelphia. IONOS has over 150 positions within the U.S., made up of a combination of hybrid and remote, and is looking toward further growth.

IONOS Inc., formerly 1&1, the largest web hosting provider in Europe, is relocating their US headquarters from Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania to Philadelphia, bringing exciting new technology-related job opportunities to Center City. IONOS has 8.8 million customer contracts worldwide with facilities in 9 countries and about 4000 employees. IONOS has over 150 positions within the US, made up of a combination of hybrid and remote, and is looking toward further growth. IONOS is the Official Cloud Partner of Haas F1 Team, the only US-based Formula 1 team.

Founded in Germany in 1988, with the main aim of making information technology easy for everyone to understand and use, IONOS is committed to delivering powerful, reliable and secure products. We have engineered our own data center architecture and extensive network, enabling millions of clients to get online, set up their web presence and take advantage of more sophisticated digital services.

After initial successes in Europe, IONOS launched 1&1 Inc. in 2003 in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania. To better serve the market, a large data center of over 40,000 servers was commissioned in Lenexa, Kansas.

Relocating the US headquarters, which includes administrative, management, technical, operations and customer support staff, to Philadelphia is the next step in delivering an even greater experience for IONOS customers and team members.

Head of US Operations & Customer Support, and long-time Philadelphia-area resident Michael Cangiarella, stated “We looked at many different cities throughout the United States to select the best location for our Operations Center and US headquarters, and quickly determined that Philadelphia was ideal in terms of supporting our existing team members, while being even better-suited to attract and retain top-talent within our market.”

“We are very excited about our move to Center City Philadelphia.”, stated IONOS Chief Executive Officer Achim Weiß. “Our new location in the Philadelphia Central Business District will provide a world-class office environment for our teammates and allow us to continue on our path of US growth. We cannot wait to arrive in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’.”

Construction has been completed, and the company will finalize its move into its new location at Two Logan Square in April. A list of current positions, as well as the ability to apply, is available online at www.IONOS.jobs.
