Ordering additional Mail Basic mailboxes

Would you like to set up an additional email address for your domain, but your Mail Basic mailboxes are already in use? No problem, simply order additional Mail Basic mailboxes for your contract.

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click on Menu at the top left, and then on Email.
  • Select the desired contract, if you have multiple contracts with emails.

Please Note

If you have several contracts, make sure that you select the contract that contains the domain you want to create the email addresses for. This is the only way to ensure that the new mailboxes can be used with your domain.

  • Click on Order underneath Mail Basic in the Portfolio tile on the right of the Email Addresses page. A window will open.

  • Select the corresponding option for the number of Mail Basic licenses to add 1, 5, or 25 mailboxes. Each mailbox has 2 GB of email storage space.

  • Read and accept our terms and conditions by ticking the appropriate box.
  • To finish your order, click on Order now!.

The Mail Basic licenses will now be added to your contract. This will only take a few moments. You can then create additional email addresses with a Mail Basic mailbox.
