Creating texts with artificial intelligence (AI)

MyWebsite Now uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help you automatically create texts for your website project. This article explains how to create this content and insert it on your website.

Note

AI-powered text creation is not included in all MyWebsite Now products.

Open the MyWebsite Now editor

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click on Menu > Websites & Stores in the title bar.
  • Click on Manage website in the tile with the name of your online project, if you have multiple contracts.
    The Presence Suite for this project opens.
  • Select Website > Website Editor in the left menu bar of the Presence Suite. The MyWebsite Now Editor opens in a new window.

Create and insert AI texts and AI headings

The following instructions can be used for heading and text elements:

  • Click on Content in the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor.
  • Move your mouse over the detail area and add a new text element. The Help Center article "Adding and editing content in MyWebsite Now" explains how.
  • Alternatively: Click on an existing text element.
  • Click on the desired text element. The text toolbar is displayed.
  • Click on the AI Text button in the text toolbar. A new window opens.
  • Fill in the fields on the Create tab to give the AI as precise a specification as possible.
  • Finalize your entries with Create. The input fields are emptied and the text field is filled with AI-generated text.

If you are not satisfied with the generated content, click the Undo button. For a different text variant, go through the step-by-step instructions in this paragraph again with different entries.

 

Generate AI texts and AI headings for a section

A page in MyWebsite Now usually consists of several sections. With the AI of MyWebsite Now it is possible to create all texts and headings of a section in one step:

The use of AI for sections does not work if you have activated the Flexibility feature for the section. You can recognize an activated flexibility feature when you move your mouse over an element within the section and a square symbol is displayed in the top left-hand corner of the element.

To create all texts and headings in a section in one step using AI:

  • Select the desired page in the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor via Pages.
  • Click on Contents in the menu bar.
  • Click on the desired section in the Page content column to the right. The section is outlined with a dashed line.
  • Optional: Add the desired number of text and heading fields to the section.
  • Move your mouse over the top left-hand corner in the detail area, and click on Section options in the button that appears.
  • Fill in the Section topic and Important to mention fields in the Section options > AI content settings area on the left-hand side of the window.
  • Check the content of the generated text after creation.

Set the tone of voice

The tone of voice describes how your text is presented linguistically, for example inspiring to cheer the reader up, or informative to convey as many technical details as possible.

This setting is also made via the AI Text window. How to access this is described in the previous section "Creating and inserting AI texts and AI headings" of this help article.

Use the Improve tab to select the desired tone of voice for your text from the Tone of voice selection list. By default, the new text is about as extensive as the source text. The result may be longer for texts with a lot of detailed information.
