Logging in to the WordPress administration

Valid for Hosting for WordPress and Managed Hosting for WordPress.

The WordPress administration interface (WP Admin) is the control center of your WordPress installation. This is where you edit the appearance of your website, manage plugins, add content, and more. This article explains how to access the WordPress administration dashboard.

Access WP Admin dashboard

  • Log in to your IONOS account.
  • Click Menu > Websites & Stores in the title bar. 
    Optional: Select the desired contract by clicking the Manage website button on the corresponding tile.
  • Click on the Edit website link. The administration area of the selected WordPress installation opens in a new window.
