Required name servers for connecting external domains to IONOS WordPress

Valid for Hosting for WordPress.

A requirement for connecting a WordPress project to an external domain is that the domain uses the IONOS name servers. This article lists the correct name servers to use.

Note

If you change the name server setting of a domain, it can take up to 72 hours for this change to take effect worldwide. We recommend that you first wait a few hours and then try to reconnect the WordPress project to the domain.

IONOS name servers

If it is not possible to connect your WordPress project to your external domain, please check the name server settings of your domain to make sure that it is configured to use the following IONOS name servers:

  • ns1045.ui-dns.org
  • ns1045.ui-dns.de
  • ns1045.ui-dns.biz
  • ns1045.ui-dns.com

If you have any questions about changing the name server setting, please contact your domain provider.
