Note

You have been informed by email if your product is affected. Attached to the email you will find a PDF file with a list of your contracts and the new prices.

You will also find emails sent to you in your IONOS account. After logging in, click on the bell symbol to display them there.

Why is IONOS increasing its prices?

Thank you for using the products from IONOS. We stand for first-class domain, server, hosting, and website solutions, combined with outstanding service. At the same time, we continuously invest in pioneering future technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and thus always offer you future-proof solutions.

We have been constantly improving the quality of our products and services for years, while at the same time increasing costs. This is why IONOS is introducing a new price structure.

What do I have to do?

Nothing. The price adjustment will take effect on the date stated in the letter. All technical features and individual configurations of your IONOS products remain unaffected.

Will the price adjustment result in cancelation of my IONOS product?

No. The price adjustment has no effect on the accessibility or function of your IONOS product.

Will I lose included functions or extensions?

No. All current functions and add-ons for your IONOS contract will be retained. If you change products, the conditions of the new product apply.

How can I save money at IONOS?

  • Change contract term: If IONOS contracts are offered with different terms, a longer minimum contract term, e.g. one year instead of one month, is usually more favorable financially. You can find details of your contracts in your IONOS account: Contracts & subscriptions: Contract number > Details.
  • Update PHP version: With IONOS PHP Extended Support, older PHP versions are protected by a customized and therefore chargeable security protocol. Update your PHP application to a current version to avoid Extended Support fees.
  • Change product: For some applications, a more favorable product with fewer services may be sufficient. Compare the product conditions.
  • Extend domain term: If you extend your domain at IONOS before the effective date of the price change, you will benefit from the more favorable prices at that time.

Please note that the options presented depend heavily on your personal contract situation and previous conditions. The IONOS customer service team will support you with individual questions.

Can I cancel products affected by the price increase?

Yes, you can cancel products affected by the price increase via IONOS Account > Contracts & subscriptions > Contract number.

Your personal advisor or IONOS Customer Support will of course be happy to answer any further questions you may have. After logging in to your IONOS account, click on the speech bubble with the question mark in the top right-hand corner to display all contact options.
