There are basically two ways to log in: Through IONOS or through a separate URL (link). This depends on your role.
In this article, you will find an overview of the possibilities of the respective users and roles:
Owner: View, download, restore, migrate, and search email for your mailbox.
Administrator: You have all accesses and possibilities. View, download, restore, migrate, and search email from any email account. You can also set up user permissions, compliance policies, view logs, legal liabilities, and review processes.
Reviewers: You only have access to the Review tab, where you can review emails.
Data Protection Officer: You can delete GDPR-compliant emails, if applicable. This is logged.
Logging in as the Owner
To open Email Archiving as the owner of the email address, follow these steps:
- Log in to your email archive: https://archive.ionos.com
You are now on the Email Archiving Start Page.
Opening Email Archiving as Administrator
If you have access to the IONOS account as an administrator, you can open email archiving for all enabled email addresses:
- Log in to IONOS.
- Click on Email.
- Select the contract and email address for which email archiving is enabled.
- Click on the Email Archiving icon.
The Email Archiving start page will then be opened in a separate window or tab.
Logging in as Examiner
If you have received external access to the email archive, e.g. as an auditor from the tax office, you currently must use the following login: https://e-mail-archive.ionos.com/deu/users/sign_in
