A greatly improved user interface - floating windows, context menus, and a completely redesigned calendar

These are - besides many improvements in performance and user experience - the most important new features in our Webmail portal.

You can find out more about it here in this article.

Improved User Interface

The top bar now has a single App Launcher icon that contains all available apps in one place. Pressing the icon opens a complete overview in a clear layout. Each app has a unique symbol and name. This means less space is needed and all apps are still clearly arranged and easy to find.

The upper bar on the left also contains up to three icons for a quick start of apps. Quick start options are initially set for email, calendar, and contacts. You can define which apps are displayed here in the settings. For example, you may want to show your Tasks app instead of the Calendar.

Floating Windows

The new Webmail now supports so-called floating windows. Write email, create appointments, and manage your address book in a window that you can move around in your browser, which makes it easy to use or copy underlying information.

It is even possible to have several windows open at the same time so you can write emails, create appointments, copy and paste addresses from your address book, etc. It is also possible to temporarily minimize windows. These will then appear as a small icon at the bottom of your screen.

Context Menus with Right Click

The most important actions are only a click away with the right mouse button. Context-dependent. Quick to reach. Efficient.

Completely New Calendar

Next generation calendar: The calendar module in the new Webmail has been completely revised. The calendar now has an updated and improved design. You can also subscribe to external calendars or import third-party calendars as a file.

Additionally, the new Webmail now has a built-in mini calendar and a birthday calendar. The entries here are automatically taken from your address book.
