Have you cancelled your IONOS contract or an add-on service and received another invoice after the cancellation date? This article explains the possible reasons.
Information regarding invoicing in the event of cancellation
- If the contract termination takes effect, IONOS will issue a final invoice. This will show the costs incurred up to the date of termination. Any invoice items that may have been charged in advance beyond the date of termination will be credited to your account.
- Usage charges are always invoiced retrospectively in the following month.
- Depending on the contract and billing cycle you have chosen, fees are invoiced monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually in advance. You can view the billing period in your invoice overview.
If you cancel paid add-ons, such as additional domains, any fees paid in advance will not be refunded.
