Our commitment

Under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, we are committed to providing a safe environment by swiftly removing nonconsensual intimate visual depictions from our platform. This policy applies to real intimate photos and videos, as well as "digital forgeries" (such as images that were digitally altered, manipulated, or created using artificial intelligence).

Who can submit a request

A removal request may be submitted by:

  • The identifiable individual depicted in the photo or video.
  • An authorized person acting on behalf of the depicted individual.

Note: You do not need to have an account on our platform to submit a removal request.

How to submit a "Valid Removal Request"

To request the removal of nonconsensual intimate content, you must submit a written request to us. To be considered valid, your request must include the following four elements:

  • A signature: A physical or electronic signature of the identifiable individual (or the authorized person acting on their behalf).
  • Location information: Identification of the intimate visual depiction and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it on our platform (such as direct URLs, usernames, or screenshots).
  • Statement of good-faith belief: A brief written statement affirming that you have a good-faith belief that the intimate visual depiction was published without the consent of the identifiable individual.
  • Contact information: Information sufficient to allow us to contact you, such as an email address or phone number.

Our review and removal process

Once we receive your valid removal request, we will take the following actions:

  • Provide a tracking number: We will assign an identifying tracking number to your request so that you, our platform, and law enforcement (if applicable) can ensure we are discussing the same image and track the status of the request.
  • 48-hour takedown: We will review the request and, upon verifying it is a valid request, remove or disable access to the intimate visual depiction as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after receipt.
  • Removal of copies: You do not need to report every duplicate image you find. We will make reasonable efforts to proactively identify and remove any known identical copies of the reported photo or video across our platform within the same 48-hour window.
  • Status update: We will follow up with you using the contact information provided to let you know when the reported content has been removed, or, if it was not removed, the reason why.
