Using the IONOS Mail System with Server Packages

For Dedicated Server and Virtual Server

We show you how you can use the IONOS mail system for your server.

The servers are set so that emails for the domains assigned to the server are also routed to the server. However, there is also the possibility to use the IONOS mail system for sending and receiving emails. This is especially interesting for those who do not want to set up their own mail server.

Step 1

Log in to IONOS and click Domain Center in the Domains area.

Step 2

In your Domain Center, click on the line of the domain whose settings you want to change. Then select Edit DNS settings.

In the"MX records" section, select the IONOS Mail server option and accept the setting with Save.

Please note: It may take up to 72 hours for the settings to be visible on the World Wide Web.
