Assigning a Monitoring Policy

For Cloud Servers, Virtual Server Cloud, Dedicated Servers and Server Power Deals managed in the Cloud Panel

Monitoring policies can be used for several servers. To assign a monitoring policy to a server, proceed as follows:

Prerequisite

  • You have already created a monitoring policy.

  • Log in to your IONOS account.

  • Click Menu > Server & Cloud in the title bar.
    Optional: Select the desired Server & Cloud contract.

    The Cloud Panel opens.

  • Click on Security > Monitoring policies in the navigation bar on the left.
  • Activate the desired monitoring policy.
  • Click on Assign in the section Assigned servers.
  • Activate the desired server.
  • Click on Save changes.

The monitoring policy will be assigned.
