Shared storage is a hard disk that can be connected to multiple server hard disks for sharing the use of storage. By doing this, everyone with access to the server has common access to the same data.
To create shared storage:
Click Create above.
Enter a name.
Use the slider or the buttons to set the size of the shared storage.
Select the desired data center.
Shared storages must be set up separately for each data center. Example: If you have set one up in a US data center, you can only assign it to a shared storage hosted in the same data center.
The shared storage will now be created. This process usually only takes a few minutes.
You must then set the server access permissions.
