Activating additional email storage for MyWebsite Now

Valid for MyWebsite Now Plus and MyWebsite Now Store Plus.

The MyWebsite Now Plus and MyWebsite Now Store Plus packages include more email storage. This article explains how to activate the extra storage space.

Requirements

You have a MyWebsite Now Plus or MyWebsite Now Store Plus contract.
You have a domain in the associated MyWebsite Now contract.

Create a new email address and add the extra storage

Log in to your IONOS account.
Click on Menu > Email in the title bar.
Select the email contract that has the same contract number as your MyWebsite Now contract. The Email Addresses overview page opens.
Click on the Create Email Address button in the top right corner.
Click the Create button on the Mail Basic | 2 GB tile.
Enter the desired address in the Email field.
Assign a secure password.
Optional: Enable the additional protection options Protection against viruses and Protection against data loss.
Complete your entries with Save. A summary is displayed. You can now upgrade the mailbox if you wish by following the next two steps.
Click on the crown icon in the row of the email address you've just created. The Upgrade Your Mailbox page opens.
Click on the Enable button in the Extra 10 GB Email Storage tile.
