What is Two-Factor Authentication?

With two-factor authentication (2FA), you can increase the security of your IONOS account simply and effectively and protect it from misuse. Access is only possible after entering two different credentials. You can use an Authenticator App or the IONOS Mobile App for this purpose.

Data thieves don't stand a chance because they can't do anything with your IONOS login details: Without the additionally required code on your smartphone or tablet, they cannot log in, making your login details worthless on their own.

Easy to use

Using Two-Factor Authentication is very easy: Simply enter the 6-digit code generated by the Authenticator app while logging in to your IONOS account. If you are using the IONOS mobile app, you only need to confirm a yes/no dialog.
