Besides OneDrive, Google Drive is one of the most successful cloud services. The big advantage is that it includes Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms, and Contacts as standard. All you need for free access is a Google account that’s connected to Drive. Backups can be made effortlessly and automatically, and data or emails can be synchronized across devices. Third-party apps can also be used with Drive, and data can be shared and edited centrally and in real time. Google servers offer reliable data security, AES-128 encryption, and spam and malware protection. Data is stored on US servers.
Cost: Google Drive offers 15 GB for free for all users with a Google account. Paid Google One subscriptions, on the other hand, offer 100 GB for around $1.99 per month, 200 GB for around $2.99 per month, and even 30,000 GB for $300 per month. (Status: November 2022)
